Hello, my name is Mrs. Tutt and I am very excited to be teaching 8th Grade English Literature! I received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree at Stephen F. Austin State University and hold certifications in Language Arts and Social Studies. I have an amazing husband and a rad son named Adam that keeps my life fun and interesting. When I am not partaking in adventures with my family, I enjoy numerous extra-curricular activities; such as reading, baking, cooking, crafting, swimming, writing and gaming.  

 

        I am what many individuals refer to as a nerd! I absolutely love to learn! I am constantly watching documentaries and reading various types of text to increase my knowledge of the world around me. As an educator, I implement many new and innovative techniques and strategies into classroom instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. I believe that in providing each student with essential background knowledge will not only enhance their comprehension skills, but will assist them in achieving academic success in the future.
